Privacy
Your information. A transparent approach.
This page explains how the current website and its contact options work.
Your contact at Obsela
Data controller: Obsela, sole proprietorship, Chemin de la Barme 37, 1868 Collombey, Switzerland.
Personal data processing is subject to the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), whose revision entered into force on 1 September 2023.
For questions about the data you share with Obsela, write to info@obsela.ch.
Your quote request
The form sends Obsela your name, email, project description and any optional information you provide: company, needs, offer, options, budget and timing. This information helps us understand and respond to your request and prepare a proposal if appropriate.
When you submit the form, a copy is saved in Obsela’s private database with a reference and the email status. Only the authorised account can view these requests. While you type, the fields remain in the page’s memory and are not saved in browser storage.
Notification and confirmation emails
Resend sends the notification to info@obsela.ch and the confirmation to the address you provide. Obsela’s inbox is hosted by OVHcloud. You can reply to the confirmation to add details. These messages are used to follow up on your project.
Email providers process the data needed for delivery and the message contents. Using these services does not guarantee storage exclusively in Switzerland.
Cloudflare, Resend and OVHcloud may process data outside Switzerland, depending on the services and subprocessors involved. Where a country does not provide a recognised adequate level of protection, the transfer must be covered by appropriate contractual safeguards, including standard contractual clauses adapted to Swiss law.
Abuse prevention
Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the form is submitted by a legitimate visitor. This service processes technical connection and browser information. The form does not send your request fields to this service. This protection operates independently of your choice about Google analytics.
The form validates fields, limits repeated submissions and uses a reference to prevent duplicates. Temporary hashes of the IP and email addresses help limit abuse. The form does not store the IP address in plain text. These hashes expire and are cleaned up when new requests are submitted.
When you write to us
If you send the message, Obsela receives its information to understand your request, reply and prepare a possible proposal. Sending and receiving involve the email services used by you and Obsela.
Avoid sharing passwords, sensitive data or technical credentials in an initial message. The information needed for the project can be clarified during our conversation.
Browsing and hosting
Displaying the site requires technical data, including IP addresses and request information, to be transmitted to Obsela’s server, hosted by OVHcloud in Zurich (Switzerland), and to Cloudflare, which protects the site and delivers its pages. Public pages are accessible without signing in. The administration area is restricted to the owner and is not publicly accessible. Information about the hosting provider’s processing is available in the OVHcloud data protection policy.
The site has internal statistics. It counts page views and contact clicks as totals by day, page, language and source category. These statistics use no tracking cookies or visitor IDs; the measurement code records no IP addresses, form contents or URL parameters. Browser signals refusing tracking are respected. Signed-in accounts are excluded. Images and fonts do not load from advertising networks.
Audience and Google advertising measurement
Google Analytics 4 measures page views and confirmed quote requests. Google Ads also measures conversions to understand which ads bring enquiries to Obsela. A conversion is triggered only after the form has been successfully received, not simply when the Contact page is opened.
The site uses Google’s advanced consent mode (Consent Mode v2). The tag loads on your first interaction with the page (scrolling, click, key press or touch) or, failing that, three seconds after you arrive; storage and advertising-data permissions are denied by default before anything loads. Before consent or after refusal, cookieless measurements are sent to Google, including pages viewed, consent status and technical connection information. The site does not set Google measurement cookies in this state.
After consent, Google may process cookie and advertising click identifiers, public pages visited, technical browser information and received-request events. The site does not send your name, email address, project description or quote reference to these tools. Ad personalisation and Google Signals are disabled.
You can accept, decline or withdraw consent through “Manage cookies” in the footer. Your choice is stored on this device for 180 days and determines the tag’s permissions; Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control do not prevent it from loading. After consent, measurement cookies are configured for a maximum of 180 days and references already counted are stored locally to prevent duplicates. These references are not sent to Google. Declining clears these stored references and measurement cookies accessible to the site. It does not block browsing or sending a quote request. Internal cookie-free totals remain separate from this tracking.
Google data may be processed outside Switzerland. The provider’s practices are described in its privacy policy.
Requests received
The number of quote requests counts the forms received and stored in the private area, separately from browsing statistics.
Managing clients and projects
Business contact details, project information, tasks, quotes, invoices and payments are stored in Obsela’s private area to manage the business relationship. Access is restricted to the owner. The database and PDFs are stored on Obsela’s server, hosted by OVHcloud in Zurich (Switzerland).
Accounting documents are retained for ten years from the end of the relevant financial year. Other data is kept as long as needed to handle the enquiry and business relationship, subject to applicable obligations.
Requests about your data
You can contact Obsela to request information about the data you have shared, its correction or deletion, or to object to its use. Any retention obligations arising from a contractual relationship will be considered in the response.
